Since at least 1993, scientists representing the nuclear fusion community have created an illusion, greatly exaggerating the appearance of the prospects and hopes of nuclear fusion energy research. They have left a trail of their deception, having misled members of the U.S. Congress, the European Parliament, European Commission, the U.K. government, journalists and the public.
